Instructions:

The first group member opens the PowerPoint presentation and writes the first sentence or paragraph of the story on the initial slide.
- The next group member continues on the next slide, reading what the last person wrote and adding their own contribution to the story.
- Rotate among the group members, with each one reading the previous slide and adding their part to the story on a new slide.
- Encourage the students to use images, graphics, and text to enhance the story and make it visually appealing.
- Foster communication and collaboration among group members as they work together to shape the story. They can use comments on the slides to discuss ideas, make suggestions, and collaborate in real-time.
- As the story progresses, students can add new slides to develop the plot, introduce new characters, or incorporate relevant visual elements.
- Set a time limit for the activity and ensure that each group member has the opportunity to contribute to multiple slides.
- Once each group has completed their collaborative story in PowerPoint, organize a virtual presentation session where each group can share their presentation with the rest of the class.
This collaborative writing activity using PowerPoint enables students to work together to create visually appealing stories. Through the use of slides and multimedia elements, students develop writing skills, creativity, and teamwork while practicing English. The virtual presentation of the stories provides an opportunity for students to express themselves, share their work with the rest of the class, and appreciate the different narratives created.

ResponderEliminarHello Maria. I have seen all the activities of your blog and are very interesting, you explain with detail all of them, the design of your blog is very nice and visually attractive. This activity is a good way for developing the writing skill and the digital competence. Moreover, the students feel motivate because they are going to show their project to their partners. So it's brilliant, others suggestions of websites that they can use for creating the story are Genially, Prezy or Storybird.
